Despite reported interest from Premiership giants, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, MK Dons boss Karl Robinson insist they want to keep Anglo Nigerian Dele Alli.
However, Robinson admitted earlier this week that he has held conversations with “two or three” top-tier sides over the youngster’s availability but insists they will only do a deal for the teenager if it favours both party.
“He’s a wonderful player, a wonderful talent,” BBC Sport quotes Robinson as saying. “We know of the interest. We want to make sure we do it right. I’m sure we will. He knows of my desire to keep him. And hopefully we can do so.”
This season the midfielder nicknamed the new “Stevie Gerrad” helped MK Dons shock Manchester United in the capital one cup and further enhanced his reputation with a goal against Crawley over the weekend.
His International future is almost same as his club future while he is uncertain to stay at MK Dons for the foreseeable future, he is also not certain to be a full fledged international for England at senior level as he is also eligible for Nigeria through his parents.
Meanwhile, he has represented England at Youth Level and Nigeria are yet to sound out the teen leaving England as the clear favourites for his international loyalty when his career comes of age.
