By Adeboye Amosu: Nigerian winger, Victor Moses, is thrilled to open his goal account for the season after hitting the back of the net in Chelsea’s 4-0 rout of Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.
Moses is also in the running for Chelsea’s man of the match. Eden Hazard, who scored a brace in the game, Willian and goalkeeper Willy Caballero who scored in his Premier League debut for the Blues in the encounter, are also in contention for the man of the match award.
Moses deftly brought down Charly Musonda’s ball over the top a minute before time and coolly slotted the ball home.
”Quality team performance from the boys today buzzing to get on the score sheet to. Thanks to all the travelling fans great support as always,” Moses tweeted after the game.
The 27- year old has made 17 Premier League appearance for Chelsea this season and has started The Blues’ last eight league games.
