Moses: Eagles Will Bounce Back

By James Agberebi:

Stoke City forward Victor Moses has promised that the Super Eagles will surely bounce back after they failed to pick one of the tickets to next year’s AFCON in Equatorial Guinea, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

Moses who was not selected by Coach Stephen Keshi for the qualifying games following his recovery from injury, however expressed his sadness over the 2-2 draw with South Africa.

“Gutted for the lads, but we will bounce back stronger as a nation. Keep believing,” he twitted.

Meanwhile, in the group’s other game, Congo pipped Sudan 1-0 in Khartoum to usurp Nigeria in second place.

South Africa finished as group winners with 12 points, Congo amassed 10 points, Nigeria has eight points while Sudan finished bottom of the group with three points.

The same Moses who was not selected by Keshi following his recovering form injury has never missed match for Stoke City.In fact Moses has played almost all the matches undertaken by his club recently.Keshi gave Nigerians wrong reason for leaving Moses out but most of us understood quite well that he had issue with Moses who will not want to admit the truth for fear of being completely left out.We all knew that Keshi had monetary issue with people like Ideye,MBA who he left behind. These are players that won us AFCON last year, and are now left out because of Keshi selfish interest

    Keshi is too storbon&selfesh.

  • @Ijiesyoung,why speak like this, articulate like a genius, all of you clamoured for Ike Uche, you got him, now you guys are going back Victor Moses, Keshi only did he Victor a favour, NFF, kESHI all of them knows the truth, you bring in a player like that from injury, you kill his bones, let the clubs use him, after all he is insured there, and besides can a coach bring in 10 strikers and one defender, when Victor was there you all said Ike Uche, as if the other players were just there for nothing, we never qualified and its not Victor Moses fault or Keshi, Let the NFF wake up, and stop the distractions, NFF Hulabaloo was the reason those lads lost concentration, we started picking up points late if we had won Congo in Calabar, and even drew with South Africa, you all will be praising Keshi, during the time Eagles played Congo in Calabar i was saying to myself FIFA already ban Nigeria, how do you think the lads too will be feeling, coaches no contract. Men. Eagles will bounce back like you said VICTOR MOSES.

    Correction.
    Mr. @Presh,
Were you just born yesterday? Or did you not know of a country called Nigeria when Sani Lulu and others were pushed out as NFF chairmen? Did NFF fiasco start in 2014? That issue has always been with us. A visionary NFF chairman came in to quickly savage the situation by sending Keshi on course to anywhere of his choice at the expense of NFF; but keshi would not accept that offer.

South Africa, Ghana and others embraced change when they perceived the earthquake coming, but our latest NFF grand president goodluck decided to call back Keshi in the name of “Be Patient Nigerians”. Now we are seven step backwards. You just wait for the next FIFA ranking, and then after AFCON. What a pity…..It might take us fifteen years to become #1 in Africa per FIFA ranking.

If the NFF political palaver should have affected any team, then it would have been Falcons who brought back the African women champions cup.

South African coach “Mashaba stated that youthfulness aided the team’s sterling performance with the introduction of four U-17 players as well as other youngsters to build a formidable team”. But Keshi feels that they are still infants. He himself started his football career at 17.
