By James Agberebi: Chelsea star, Victor Moses, has expressed his gratitude after winning Nigeria’s Player of the Year for Men at the maiden 2018 Aiteo/NFF Awards on Monday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Moses was picked ahead of Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City and Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu at the award held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Nigerian star, who was however not present to receive his award, thanked the NFF and his fans for their support.
“Good morning everyone, it’s Victor Moses here,” Moses said in a 23-second video clip published on the NFF verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
“Thanks for making me Nigeria’s Player of the Year. And also thanks to the NFF for this award, I really appreciate and it’s an honour for me to win an award like this fro Nigeria.
“And also, thanks to to all my fans that have been there and have supported me right from day one. Thank you all and may God bless you.”
