Victor Moses has been recognised for his performances in a Stoke City shirt by receiving a nomination for New African Soccer magazine’s September player of the month award, according to Stoke City FC officials website.
The Nigeria international played a part in goals against both Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United recently and has been in tremendous form since arriving at the Britannia Stadium on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
He joins West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho and Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame, both of Senegal, as well as Kenyan-born Victor Wanyama of Southampton in the four-man nominations list.
These are made up by a combination of fans’ votes as well as the scrutiny of the New African Soccer technical panel with the winner being announced tomorrow.
Mame Diouf has already scooped the magazine’s inaugural accolade for August.
