The 25 year old star who was the best player on the night for the Blues who recorded their first win after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Rapid Vienna also thanked everyone for their support.
The former Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham winger wrote via his Twitter handle, @VictorMoses: "Great win and performance from the team today. Enjoyed it out there. Thanks for all of your support."
The Nigeria international came close to scoring twice in the encounter – firstly, with an effort that crashed against the post and secondly, his goal-bound strike cleared off the line in the 81st minute.
The former Crystal Palace star was a constant threat with his direct running and was unlucky not to cap his superlative display with a goal.
The ex Wigan star who signed for Chelsea in 2012 for a fee in the region of £9m has made 27 appearances for the Blues, scoring ten goals in all competitions.
