Nigerian winger Moses Simon has signed a new three-year contract with KAA Gent, the club’s official twitter handle has revealed.
The 21-year-old who arrived at the club last January extended his current contract with the Belgian champions until 2019.
“BREAKING @mosesdaddy extends his contract until 2019!” @KAAGent tweeted on Friday.
Simon was instrumental in Gent winning their first ever national Championship title in May 2015 and the Belgian Super Cup where he assisted Laurent Depoitre’s winning goal.
He also featured for the club in the group stages of this season’s UEFA Champions League, where he helped them reach the round of 16. They face Wolfsburg in February.
Since joining the Buffalos Simon has scored nine goals and he given eight assists in 44 games.
