Mourinho Relishes United’s Win At West Brom, Praises Fantastic Ibrahimovic

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has nothing but praises for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who bagged a brace that sealed the three points for Manchester United against West Brom at The Hawthorns on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Mourinho was also satisfied with his team's dominace in the game, a feat which extended the Red Devils' unbeaten run to eight games.

The win sees Mourinho's men moved up level on points with fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur who face Burnley at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

"I keep saying that for me it is not his (Ibrahimovic) body, for me it is more up here [points to head]. It is a pleasure to see him play, his happiness. It's fantastic for a 35-year-old guy," Mourinho told BT Sport.

"That was very good. We played really well at Crystal Palace and today, even better.

"We were always in control against a very difficult team. We could have scored the second goal earlier, but we still showed our maturity and consistency, and we defended well. I’m very happy.

"So happy. Great performance, even better than the last one against Crystal Palace. Very solid from the first minute and everything under control. We coped well with difficult things that West Brom always bring to the game,"Mourinho told BBC Sport.

"We had our identity to keep the ball, press high. So I am really happy.

"You are always worried and I've had matches here and against Tony's teams where they can score a goal in a set play and then can give you hell in the last minutes. It happened to me with Chelsea.

"One thing is to know we are working well and another is to work well and get the results.

"We have to try to win as many points as possible. At some clubs you can play bad football if it is winning football. At other clubs you cannot do that and Manchester United is one of those clubs. You have to win and play well."
