Jose Mourinho has accused the FA of double standards over his touchline bust-up with Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman escaped punishment for pushing Mourinho in the chest during an angry showdown as Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
But the Blues boss last night claimed he would have been hit with a stadium ban if he had been the aggressor.
Asked if he was surprised Wenger had not been punished, Mourinho said: “No, I’m not surprised.
“Would I have been charged if I had done it? Charged? If it was me, it would have been a stadium ban!”
Wenger has since admitted he regrets sparking the angry confrontation, which led to both managers being warned by referee Martin Atkinson.
The fact the official saw it and took action at the time meant the FA could not take retrospective action.
