Ighalo, Owello, Ogbeche on target; Moses returns, Enyeama concedes again;
Mikel, Ambrose, Akpan benched

ENGLAND
Mikel Obi (Chelsea): Nigerian midfielder John Mikel Obi was left on the bench for 90 minutes in Chelsea’s 2-1 away win against Cyrstal Palace. His last appearance for Chelsea was in their 2-0 home win against Arsenal when he replaced Andre Schuerrle.

Sone Aluko (Hull City): Nigerian international Sone Aluko was once again left out of Hull City’s squad that held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates. Aluko, who has made two substitute appearances for coach Steve Bruce’s side, was also left out in their 2-0 win against Palace before the international break.

Semi Ajayi (Arsenal): One time Flying Eagles invitee Semi Ajayi made Arsenal’s bench in their 2-2 home draw against Hull City. Ajayi usually plays for the reserve team of Arsenal and he is yet to appear for the first team.

Kenneth Omeruo (Middlesbrough): Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo did not even make the bench in Middlesbrough 2-1 away win at Brighton and Hove Albion. Omeruo, who helped the Eagles to a 3-1 win against Sudan on Wednesday, has featured nine times for Middlesbrough this season.

Odion Ighalo (Watford): Former Flying Eagles skipper Odion Ighalo was on the score sheet in the 21st minute as Watford thrashed home side Sheffield Wednesday 3-0. The goal was his second in seven appearances.

Hope Akpan (Reading): One-cap Super Eagles midfielder Hope Akpan was an unused substitute in Reading’s 3-0 defeat at home to Derby County. Akpan has seen action eight times this term for Reading.

Victor Moses (Stoke City): Nigeria international Victor Moses returned from injury and played his part in Stoke’s 2-1 home win against Swansea. He was brought down in the penalty box in one of his constant attacks from the right wing; the penalty was converted by Charlie Adams. He was later replaced by Ousama Assaidi in the 73rd minute.

SPAIN
Ike Uche (Villarreal), Ramon Azeez (Almeria): Super Eagles striker Ike Uche was selected in Villarreal’s clash against Almeria who also paraded Ramon Azeez.

The game was Uche’s sixth, and he has one goal to his name, while Azeez also featured in his sixth game for Almeria.

ITALY
Joel Obi (Inter Milan): Nigerian midfielder Joel Obi featured in his second game of the season for Inter Milan in their clash against Napoli.

Ogenyi Onazi (Lazio): Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was a 58th minute substitute for Stefano Mauri in Lazio’s 2-0 win against hosts Fiorentina. Onazi had provided an assist in his side’s 3-2 win against Sassuolo two weeks ago.

Nnamdi Oduamadi (Crotone): Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi was introduced in the 68th minute for Sergio Suciu but couldn’t help his team from losing 3-1 away to Trapani.
Oduamadi who has scored just one goal for Crotone, has featured seven times for them so far.

FRANCE
Vincent Enyeama (Lille): Super Eagles keeper Vincent Enyeama failed to prevent his side from falling at home as they lost 2-1 to Guingamp. The two goals conceded by Enyeama was his seventh in 10 appearances for Lille in Ligue 1 in the current campaign.

Elderson Echiejile (AS Monaco): Super Eagles left-back Elderson Echiejile was once again left out of Monaco’s squad in their 2-0 win against Evian. Echiejile has only featured once this season for Monaco since his move from Sporting Braga.

GERMANY
Chinedu Obasi (Schalke): Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi made his third substitute appearance for Schalke as they defeated visiting Hertha Berlin 2-0. Obasi replaced Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 85th minute of the encounter.

Anthony Ujah (Cologne): Nigerian forward Anthony Ujah was left on the bench for 90 minutes as his side Cologne beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at home. Ujah, who has played five times in the Bundesliga so far this term, has a goal to his name.

RUSSIA
Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow): Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa continued his scoring form as he scored a brace in CSKA’s 6-0 whitewash of visitors Kuban Krasnodar. Musa also provided an assist for Ivory Coast’s Seydou Doumbia who also netted twice. Musa had also found the back of the net twice in Super Eagles’ 3-1 win against Sudan.

SCOTLAND
Efe Ambrose (Celtic): Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose was left on the bench in Celtic’s 5-0 away win against Ross County.

Ambrose, who was also left out of the Eagles’ 3-1 win against Sudan on Wednesday, has eight appearance under his belt for the Scottish champions.

TURKEY
Emmanuel Emenike (Fenerbahce): Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike was withdrawn in the 61st minute for Hasan Kaldirim as Fenbache lost 2-1 to rivals Galatasaray. The game was Emenike’s fifth, scoring one goal so far.

GREECE
Abduljeleel Ajagun (Panathinaikos), Dele Adeleye (OFI): Nigerian defender Dele Adeleye featured from start to finish in defence for OFI in their 2-1 away win over Panathinaikos. The game which was his seventh, saw the former junior international booked in the 70th minute. His Nigeria counterpart, and former Flying Eagles skipper Abduljeleel Ajagun, saw 90 minutes of action in the loss. He has now featured five times in this campaign, scoring twice.

BELGIUM
Uche Nwofor (Lierse): Super Eagles forward Uche Nwofor was on the bench for 90 minutes in Lierse’s 2-1 away win against Cercle Brugge. Nwofor is yet to feature for the Jupiler side since joining them during the summer.

UKRAINE
Michael Babatunde (Volyn): Super Eagles forward Michael Babatunde was missing in action as Volyn lost 6-2 to Shakhtar Donetsk. He also did not feature in the AFCON qualifiers against Sudan because of injury.

HOLLAND
Bartholomew Ogbeche (Cambuur): Nigerian striker Bartholomew Ogbeche continued his goal scoring form for Dutch side Cambuur, scoring in the 55th minute as they held home team Heerenveen to a 2-2 draw. The goal was Ogbeche’s sixth in nine outings. He was however booked in the 85th minute.

Abiola Dauda (Vitesse): Nigerian striker Abiola Dauda scored and provided an assist in Vitesse’s 4-1 away win against Willem 11. The game was his eighth, scoring six goals so far.

DENMARK
Sylvester Igboun, Rilwan Hassan, Ebere Onuachu, Femi Ajilore, Isaac Oliseh, Izunna Uzochukwu, Musefiu Ashiru (Midtjylland) Adeola Runsewe (Silkeborg): Nigerian attacker Sylvester Igboun was on for 90 minutes but couldn’t add to his six goals scored so far as Midtjylland beat visiting Silkeborg 2-1. His team-mate Izunna Uzochukwu who also played for 90 minutes and got booked with five minutes remaining. Their Nigerian counterpart Adeola Runsewe was an unused substitute.

SWEDEN
John Owoeri (Atvidaberg): Former junior international John Owoeri made way for Victor Skold in the 74th minute in Atvidaberg’s 2-1 win against visitors Mjallby. In his last outing for his team, Owoeri grabbed a brace in a 3-1 win against Halmstad. He has eight goals to his name in 23 appearances.

NORWAY
Seyi Olofinjana, Solomon Owello (IK Start), Akeem Latifu, Leke James (Aalesund): Former Flying Eagles midfielder Solomon Owello scored his first goal of the season in 26 appearances for IK Start after coming on for Espen Borufsen in the 62nd minute but it wasn’t enough as his team lost at home 2-1 to Aalesund. His Nigerian team-mate and former Eagles player Seyi Olofinjana was an unused substitute. Also, former junior international, Akeem Latifu, was on for 90 minutes in his 26 appearance for Aalesund. His team-mate Leke James was on the score sheet when he struck in the 13th minute, scoring his seventh goal in 20 appearance.

HUNGARY
George Ikenne (Honved): Nigerian defender George Ikenne made his ninth appearance for Honved before he was withdrawn for Daniel Prosser in the 80th minute as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Paksi se.
