Super Eagles defender, Musa Mohammed insists the team must be at their best to overcome Algeria in today's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying match in Uyo, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Gernot Rohr's men will face the Fennecs in the Group B fixture at the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium Uyo.
Super Eagles will look to build on their impressive 2-1 away win against the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Ndola last month.
Mohammed, a former youth international reckoned that the North Africans who are expected to parade top stars like Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Yaccine Brahimi will be a tough nut to crack and they must put in a good fight to pick maximum points in the encounter.
"We are expecting a tough game against the Algerians and we are all ready for the battle," the former Golden Eaglets defender told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Algeria drew their first game against Cameroon and they cannot afford to lose against us which will make things difficult for them.
" They also have some quality players like Slimani and Mahrez who we need to stop if we want to win the game.
"The key thing is that we have to be at our best and be ready to give more than hundred percent if we want to win the game."
