Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa, was on target for CSKA Moscow in their 3-2 win against PSV Eindhoven in their UEFA Champions League matchday two clash on Wednesday.
Musa, who has been one of the top performers for CSKA this season, put his side ahead as early as the seventh minute.
Cote d’Ivoire striker, Seydou Doumbia, doubled the lead for CSKA in the 21st minute. Doumbia made it 3-0 on 36 minutes from the penalty spot.
Then in the second half, Maxime Lestienne scored in the 60th and 68th minutes for PSV but CSKA held on for the win
The win sees CSKA secure their first three points in the group stage after they narrowly lost 1-0 away to Wolfsburg in their first game.
They will face Manchester United who also grabbed their first win thanks to a 2-1 win against Wolfsburg.
United fell behind after a defensive error, but a Juan Mata penalty and Chris Smalling goal saw them to a tense victory.
In Sweden, Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace on Wednesday night to become Real Madrid’s joint-leading scorer in club history, as his side eased past 10-man Malmo 2-0 in their Champions League clash.
Ronaldo is now tied with Raul on 323 goals as the Spanish giants all-time top scorers.
