Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa will complete a loan move back to Russian club CSKA Moscow this week according to reports in the Russian media.
Musa joined the Foxes in a big money move from CSKA Moscow 18 months ago, but have struggled to pin down a regular shirt at the club.
This season he is yet to feature for the former English Premier League champions making a couple of appearances in the Carabao Cup and for the U-23’s.
He has however been linked with a move away from the club to boost his chances of making Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
His representative, Tony Harris said the winger will rejoin CSKA Moscow in the next couple of days.
“Most likely, the transfer will take place next week,” his agent Harris told Russia online news outlet sport-express.ru.when ask about the future of his client.
The 25-year-old was left out of Leicester City’s squad for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup fourth Round win against Peterborough.
Musa first joined CSKA Moscow from Dutch club VVV Venlo in January 2012 and spend four years at the club before linking up with Leicester City.
