Musa Shocked Over Meyiwa’s Demise

Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has told AfricanFootball.com he has been left in a shock by the tragic death of South Africa goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot dead on Sunday night in South Africa and CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa, who played against him last month, described the death as a big loss to Africa.

“I was shocked when I heard about the South Africa goalkeeper’s death on Sunday night. In fact I am still in shock,” the Eagles forward told AfricanFootball.com

“I remember he was in goal against us in the Nations Cup qualifier in Cape Town. He was such a talented goalkeeper and even stopped us from getting a win in that match with some big saves.

“This is a big loss to the entire black race. My heart goes out to Orlando Pirates, his family, South Africans and the entire football family.”
