Nigerian winger Ahmed Musa has signed a new four-year contract extension with his Russian club CSKA Moscow, the club has revealed on their official Twitter handle.
The Super Eagles star who has one year left on his current deal penned a new lucrative deal that will keep him at the Arena Khimki till the end of the 2018/2019 season.
“Negotiations went very smoothly,” general director Roman Babaev told pfc-cska.com.
“During the talks we were concentrating on technical details, as Musa’s intention to continue performing in the red and blue shirt was obvious from the first day. We are delighted that Ahmed prolonged his contract with the club.”
Musa a winner of two Russian League titles, one Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups, scored ten goals this term as the Railway team finished second in the Russian for the out-going season.
Meanwhile he has been allowed to arrive in camp later than the Tuesday deadline set for the players for the AFCON qualifier against Chad.
