Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa's Leicester City continued their poor English Premier League title defence losing 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
It was the second time this season that the Reds were scoring four goals after hitting four past Arsenal in their opening day win at the Emirates.
It was also the second defeat this season for Leicester City, with Musa making his third substitute appearance for the Foxes in the encounter, replacing Shinji Okazaki.
Roberto Firmino scored a brace for Liverpool while Sadio Mane and Adam Lalana completed the rout.
Liverpool comprehensively outplayed Leicester City with their crisp passes and movement. The champions couldn't handle Roberto Firmino, Saido Mane, Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana who were all brilliant in the game.
Firmino opened scoring for the Reds in the 13th minute when he latched on to James Milner's perfect pass from the left side and Brazilan forward turned his marker Robert Huth before calmly slotting the ball past Kasper Schmeichel. It was his second goal of the new season.
Sadio Mane doubled the lead for the hosts with a brilliant chip for his second goal in three Premier League starts for Jurgen Klopp's men.
But Jamie Vardy scored one of the easiest goals of his career, tapping into an empty net after a poor back pass from Lucas. The Brazilian had played a one-two with Simon Mignolet before setting up Vardy to score.
Adam Lallana made it 3-1 for the hosts, firing in Georginio Wijnaldum's pass into the far top-left corner in the 56th minute.
Firmino made it 4-1 in the 89th minute when he finished off a swift counter attack started off by Mane from the left side of midfield.
Mane skipped round Schmeichel who had rushed off his line before squaring to Roberto Firmino who slotted home the fourth goal.
