Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa has hinted to Completesportsnigeria.com that he could leave the King Power Stadium in January but he remains coy on which club he will be joining when the transfer window reopens.
“I don’t know where I’m headed yet but hopefully I will leave to play regularly,” Musa told Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigerian international has made only one senior appearance for Leicester City this season which was against Championship side Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup in which he scored.
A return to CSKA Moscow and moves to Hull City and Stoke are possible options for the 25-year-old winger should he decide to leave in January.
Musa joined Leicester City for €18m from CSKA Moscow last summer but has struggled for the Foxes, scoring six goals in 34 games in all competitions.
Musa was a member of Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad was also part of the Super Eagles squad that reached the second round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where he scored a brace against Argentina.
