Aminu who missed his side's defeat to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday was handed his sixth start of the NBA season and he scored ten points, making four rebounds, providing two assists in 21 minutes as Terry Stotts' side lost their 14th game of the season.
Aminu 26, who was making his 12th appearance in the NBA this season, is expected to feature for the Blazers when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Moda
Center in a bid to win their (eight home game) 13th game of the campaign.
The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Boston Celtics 99-96 in their last game.
The Portland Trail Blazers are currently eight on the Western conference with 12 and 14 defeats amassing a total point of 462.
Aminu's compatriot, Festus Ezeli is yet to feature for the club this season.
Aminu, a member of the victorious D'Tigers that won the Afrobasket title in 2015 for the first time, is expected to represent Nigeria at the 2017 edition in Congo-Brazzaville.
