Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has expressed confidence that Leicester City will keep hold of their star players despite having no chance of playing in Europe next season.
Following a torrid season, the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, Leonardo Ulloa, Kasper Schmeichel have been touted as some of the big players who could depart the Premier League champions in the summer.
Ndidi who himself was also linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium in the summer says he will stay on and has tipped the club’s other big stars to remain.
“I think our best players will stay,” Ndidi told the Leicester Mercury.
“I am very happy here, it is more than I expected.
“I've not known a team like Leicester before, we are something special.
“The team is doing good now and we are happy about it."
Ndidi should be in action for Leicester on Wednesday night. In Premier League match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
