Ndidi: Leicester Played Great Game Against Liverpool

By Johnny Edward:

Wilfred Ndidi admits Leicester City played a great game against Liverpool to earn their first win of the year 2017 on Monday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Leicester City defeated Liverpool 3-1, thanks to a brace from Jamie Vardy and Danny Drinkwater which saw the Foxes end a run of five straight top-flight defeats in in style.

Philippe Coutinho scored a consolation goal for the Reds who have now lost five of their past seven matches in all competitions.

The goals were the first the Foxes have scored in the league in 2017 and the Nigerian international Ndidi, who made 11 tackles during the game is confident the Foxes will never quit as they fight to revive their season.

"Great game tonight #fighting #lcfc #foxesneverquit." Ndidi tweeted Monday night  via his handle.

Leicester host relegation-threatened side on Saturday when Hull City visit the King Power Stadium.

  • I agree with Ndidi that Leicester played a great game. Ndidi played a great game too. Not yet at N’Golo Kante level but with serious training he may get to that level. N’Golo Kante is on a super level. Meanwhile questions are been asked regarding Leicester super display against Liverpool- how did this not happen during Claudio Ranieri time to save him from the sack? Will this type of display be a one time one or it will be sustained? Will Musa still be playing for Leicester with Shearspear on board as head coach? Question question question!!!!!!!
