Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is satisfied that he and his teammates fought back to get a draw in Thursday friendly against Senegal, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The game at The Hive Stadium, home ground of Barnet FC, ended 1-1 with Moussa Sow putting the Senegalese ahead before Kelechi Iheanacho restored parity for Nigeria through a penalty towards the end.
"Physical and interesting game against Senegal today, glad we did our best to take a point. #supereagles. #the dutycontinues," the Leicester City midfielder tweeted.
The Eagles will face Burkina Faso at the same venue on Monday.
The teams are all preparing for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled for later in the year.
