As published over the past months in Complete Sports newspaper and web that Information Technology partner New Horizon’s were sending eight Nigerians to Brazil to watch the World Cup live. This promise has been fulfilled and winners have arrived Nigeria, they were excited and enjoyed every bit of the trip. Some of which this is their first experience on a plane so much as to travel out of the country, were elated as they touched down Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos. Nigeria.
Here is what they some of the winners had to say;
Sage Keyomah: “It was fun, I’m so excited. I feel so privileged to be among the people that could go to Brazil and come back safely. We give all glory to God for making this possible, and we also thank New Horizons and Complete Sports for giving us the opportunity to be able to go to Brazil and now that we are back in Nigeria. We also pray that God will continue to bless your company and make it bigger and stronger”
Alabi Idowu: “I want to say a big thank you to New Horizon and Complete Sports they have done a very wonderful job. I didn’t really expect that I would be in Brazil to watch the Nigeria-France match but hopefully I did that I’m very grateful to be one of the winners to go to Brazil to watch France-Nigeria match live at the stadium. I’m so happy and God will continue to strengthen their company Complete Sports and New Horizons. They should put more effort so in the nearest future they can still do more of that and hopefully everything will work fine.

They took pictures with stars and they had fun.
If you have been following my journal about our trip on our website www.completesportsnigeria.com you will know the boys really had a nice stay in Brazil. New Horizon and Complete Sports had a plan to take Nigerian Sports fans to experience the World Cup live as a way to give back to students of New Horizons IT training institute and readers of Complete Sports newspaper. Also to pay them for their loyal followership of the game not only as fanatics of the sport but also as something that can be rewarding to them in value as well. Football is a universal language hence it is a tool to unite people irrespective of language, age, gender, background or religion.
New Horizons and Complete Sports have taken it as their duty to ensure the Nigerian people benefit from the love of the game monetarily, that is why on Saturday 31st of May they organised a symposium which had the theme “Making money from football” it was at this symposium at the National Stadium Surulere Lagos that the winners were picked after a highly contested quiz competition.
The high point of our trip was the experience at the Estadio Nacional in Brasilia even though the Super Eagles were beaten two goals to nil. It would be written down in history that were at the match live and had an opportunity to cheer our beloved Eagles after qualifying for the second round against all odds. The atmosphere was ecstatic as the stadium was filled with chants of ‘NIGERIA’ even non-Nigerians were hailing us and giving moral support to the team. It was a sad loss but a memory to never be forgotten.
This will be a Yearly occasion so keep learning with New Horizons Nigeria’s No. 1 IT training institute and Keep reading Complete Sports Nigeria’s No.1 sports daily.
