Neymar Matches Romario Goals Record As Brazil Outclass Alaba’s Austria

By James Agberebi:
Brazil ended their pre-World Cup preparations on a winning note following a convincing 3-0 win against Austria in Vienna on Sunday.

Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar, was on target again for Brazil after scoring his second goal in back-to-back games. He also scored in a 2-0 win against Croatia after returning from injury since February.

Also on target for Brazil were Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus and Philippe Coutinho of Barcelona.

Neymar’s goal means he is now joint-third with Romario on 55 goals in Brazil’s top goal scorers.

Legendary Pele still tops on 77 goals while former Barcelona and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo is second on 62 goals.

In action against Brazil was Austrian star with  Nigerian blood, David Alaba, who alongside his Austrian teammates visited the Super Eagles training camp at Avita Resort in Aistria and wished them success at this year’s World  Cup.
