NFF Celebrates Akide-Udoh At 43

The Nigerian Football Federation has sent birthday message to former Super Falcons striker, Mercy Akide-Udoh who turned 43 on (Sunday) today, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.‎

Akide-Udoh was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on the 26th of August 1975.

“Big birthday shout-out to former @NGSuper_Falcons forward and Nigeria football legend, @MarvellousMercy Akide Udoh. Have a good one goal poacher,” the tweet on the official handle of the NFF reads.

Akide-Udoh made her debut for the Super Falcons in 1994 and featured for Nigeria at three FIFA Women’s World Cup (1995, 1999, 2003).
She was a member of the Super Falcons squad at the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Akide-Udoh also helped Nigeria’s Super Falcons win three Africa Women’s Cup of Nations titles in 1998, 2000 and 2002.
