—Pinnick Also Confirms Super Falcons Will Get Foreign Coach

The identity of the new handler of the Super Eagles will be made known to Nigerians on Friday in Lagos, President of Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has revealed to completesportsnigeria.com.
The NFF boss told completesportsnigeria.com exclusively on the phone from London that the deal for the hiring of a foreign coach for the Super Eagles has been concluded and that all is set for him to unveiled and for him to start work as soon as possible.
“We have everything wrapped up for the coach who will take charge of the Super Eagles. It is a done deal and all things going as planned, we shall unveil him on Friday in Lagos,” Pinnick said on Tuesday.
“I wont tell you who the coach is or the country he is from but just take it that we have a foreign coach for the Super Eagles. The man we are contracting is of good quality and i believe Nigerians will appreciate our choice when we unveil him on Friday.”
The NFF boss was in the company of chairman of NFF Technical study group and former Nigeria captain Austin Okocha in London to seal the deal. They are due back in Nigeria Wednesday to prepare for the unveiling.
Asked if Nigeria’s senior women’s team, the Super Falcons will also have a foreign coach as being speculated, Pinnick said the Falcons will definitely get a foreign handler but that it will not be immediate.
“We shall no doubt get a foreign handler for the Super Falcons but that will be later because we are still discussing with an organisation that will fund the total package of the coach. Falcons will get priority treatment as well,” he told completesportsnigeria.com.
