Nigeria’s green-white-green flag Saturday morning went up the sky at the Games Village, Kintele, here in Congo Brazzaville.
The flag was hoisted amidst national salute by officials of the Team Nigeria delegation to the 11th All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.
It joined other countries’ flags that have been hoisted up the skies at the village which accommodates all 44 participating nations.
The West African nation’s symbol of unity is flanked by Ghana and host country, Congo Brazzaville national flags.
The brief ceremony took place at 9am just as many were either returning or going for their breakfasts.
