By Adeboye Amosu: Norwegian top flight club Valerenga have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Peter Godly Michael on a three-year contract, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Michael, who spent several weeks on trials with the club at their Marbella, Spain training base, expressed his delight after officially penning the contract.
“That’s what I’ve been working for all the time, and I’m very pleased to have signed for Vålerenga. I’ve done my best all the way, and I’ll keep doing that,” Michael told the club’s official website.
Valerenga sporting director, Jørgen Ingebrigtsen, is pleased that the striker has now signed for the club and heaped plaudits on him for his superb qualities.
“Peter has made a very good impression both as player and person during the period he has been here. He is instructive, has a strong physique, scores goals and has also slipped very well into the group,” he stated.
“We strongly believe that this will be good both for himself and the club.”
