Nigerian striker Ezekiel Henty has joined Croatian top division club, Osijek on a two year deal from Hungary’s Videoton FC, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Henty who has been handed the jersey No.45 at the club expressed his delight joining his tenth career club in Europe in a chat with CSN.
“I am happy to have joined a team competing in the UEFA Europa league for next season and I hope to make my mark there,” he began.
Henty who has joined up with his new teams for pre-season explained why he opted to join the former Croatian league champions.
”I joined basically to compete in Europe and to play regularly as well.
It’s a big decision to change things but I felt it was the right decision to do that.”
Henty has previously featured for AC Milan, Spezia, Perugia, Nova Gorica, Olimpija Ljubljana, Locomotive Moscow and Baniyas, Videoton and Puskas since departing Lagos-based Flying Sports Academy in 2012.
Osijek are away to Petroclub of Moldova in their UEFA Europa League first leg first qualifying round clash on the 12th of July.
