NPFL: IfeanyiUbah, Heartland Clash As Imama Returns To Rangers; Sunshine Welcome Pillars

By Adeboye Amosu: Seven matches will be on offer on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) as teams continue their push for points and better placing in the table, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
One game is scheduled for  Monday (Wikki Tourists versus Lobi Stars), while two other games will be played in midweek owing to CAF club competition engagement for champions Plateau United, MFM FC and Akwa United this weekend.
The biggest fixture on Sunday is the Oriental derby between FC IfeanyiUbah and Heartland which will  hold at the IfeanyiUbah International Stadium in Nnewi.
The Anambra Warriors are without a win in their last four games and failure to record victory in this game will further put pressure on handler of the side Ladan Bosso.
Heartland head into the game in fine form having won their last two games following their failure to record a win in their opening five games of the campaign.
Imama Amapakabo will return to Enugu for the first time after  his unceremonious exit from Enugu Rangers last season when his new team El-Kanemi Warriors take on the home side.
Amapakabo won the title with the  Flying Antelopes two seasons ago but was booted out last term following a string of poor results.
In Akure, the spotlight will fall on Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa who is currently the top scorer in the division with seven goals. Sunshine Stars are the opponents in wait for Lokosa and his teammates.
It will be an all-northern affair at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja with Niger Tornadoes and Nasarawa United doing battle at the venue, while Kwara United and Katsina United will also slug it out in Ilorin.
Yobe Desert Stars will welcome Rivers United to the Damaturu Stadium.
The visitors are without a win in their last two games, while  Yobe Desert Stars have won all games at home this season.
Struggling Go Round of Omoku, Rivers State who are without a win in their last three games will look to return to winning ways when they host Abia Warriors at the Krisdera Stadium.
On Monday, Wikki Tourists will entertain Lobi Stars at the New Jos Stadium.
