NPFL: Rangers Hold Nasarawa, Sunshine Pip 3SC, Plateau Beat Enyimba

Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enugu Rangers picked their first point of the campaign after forcing their hosts Nasarawa United to a 1-1 draw in their matchday two clash on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Adamu Hassan gave the Solid Miners the lead four minutes after the break, while Fortune Omoniwari equalised for Imama Amapakabo's men in the 67th minute. 

It was Omoniwari's second goal for the Flying Antelopes since his arrival from Akwa United this season.
Rivers United also rallied from a goal down to pick a valuable away point against Akwa United in Uyo.
The Promise Keepers got off to a flying start with Cyril Olisema handing them the lead on nine minutes.
Bernard Ovoke however ensured his side returned to Port Harcourt with a point by firing home the equaliser 
on 26 minutes.

In Nnewi, FC IfeanyiUbah  got their season back on track by trouncing MFM FC 4-0.
Yaya Kone opened the floodgates of goals when he fired past Abayomi Folarin early in the game.
Former junior international, King Osanga, doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, while Jimoh Oni scored the third two minutes later.
Ifeanyi Onuigbo completed the rout, netting the fourth six minutes from time.
In the South-West derby, Sunshine Stars secured a narrow 1-0 win against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.
Sunday Oluwadamilare hit the winner for the Owena Waves 12 minutes from time.
Lobi Stars also beat Kano Pillars with the same scoreline with Solomon Kwambe scoring the decisive goal six minutes before the break.

At the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos, Plateau United beat former champions Enyimba 3-0.
Plateau United scored the curtain raiser in the 12th minute through Elisha Gorbe who curled in a beautiful freekick from the edge of the box.

Kabiru Umar added the second 10 minutes after the break.
Emeka Umeh put the result beyond doubt when he netted the third goal for Kennedy Boboye's men 10 minutes from time.
Three minutes later, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu pulled a goal back for the Peoples Elephant.

It was another fine outing for Abia Warriors who continued their fine start to the season by handing Katsina United a 2-0 defeat.
The hosts took the lead on 36 minutes courtesy of a fine strike by  Godwin Zaki, his second of the season.

Former Sunshine Stars midfielder, Seun Olulayo, made the points safe when he scored the second on 54 minutes.
In another fixture, Niger Tornadoes and ABS FC played out a 1-1 draw in Minna.
The visitors opened scoring on the half hour mark through Mohammed Mohammed while the home side levelled scores seven minutes laterthrough Ebenezer Odeyemi.

Gombe United recovered from their opening day loss to Katsina United by beating Remo Stars 2-1.
Victor Mbaoma gave Remo Stars the lead in the 19th minute. 
Austin Oladapo and Fabassou Djoufoume scored both goals for the Savannah Scorpions.
