Rivers United will face a tricky test in Thursday's rescheduled NPFL matchday 13 clash with home side, Katsina United, at the Mohammadu Dikko Stadium Katsina, reportsCompletesportsnigeria.com.
The Pride Of Rivers who are through to the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup competition, are on a four game winning streak in all competitions which could be halted by Baldwin Bazuaye's side who have not lost a game in Katsina since their return to the top flight division.
The game will be played behind closed doors due to the sanction imposed on Katsina United by the League Management Company for their fans attack on Enyimba's bus on matchday 17.
Rivers United could take advantage of that and record their first win away in the NPFL season (their sixth win of the campaign).
The win will see Stanley Eguma's side leap out of the relegation zone for the first time this season in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Katsina United are currently 15th in the NPFL table with 22 points from 18 games while Rivers United are 16th with 20 points from 15 games
