–Moses finally sees action; Echiejile starts Utaka, Eneramo also score ENGLAND Osaze Odemwingie (Stoke City), Sone Aluko (Hull City): Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie scored his fifth goal of the season and the only goal as Stoke City defeated visiting Hull City 1-0 making it three wins on the bonce for the Potters. Moses only goal for the Mersey side in the EPL was against Swansea in a 2-2 draw and has 16 games under his belt. Kenneth Omeruo(Middlesbrough): Super Eagles defender was on from the start but came off for Nathaniel Chalobah in the 79th minutes as Middlesbrough defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 away. The former Ado Den Haag player, has now played seven times for Middlesbrough. Shola Ameobi, Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle United): Super Eagles striker, Shola Ameobi was left on the bench for 90 minutes in Newcastle 4-0 loss to home side Southampton. The lanky forward has seen action 20 times this season but is yet to score a goal. His younger brother Sammy Ameobi was left out of the squad that travelled to St. Mary’s. John Mikel Obi (Chelsea): Super Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi was an unused substitute as Chelsea surprisingly lost to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, a defeat which has blown the title race wide open. Mikel who last game for Chelsea was in their 6-0 win against Arsenal, has featured 20 times for the coach Jose Mourinho-led side. SCOTLAND Efe Ambrose (Celtic): Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose who clinched the SPL title with Celtic last wednesday after beating Patrick Thistle, played 90 minutes as Celtic were held 1-1 by Ross County inside Celtic Park. Ambrose has appeared in all Celtic’s games this season. UKRAINE Babatunde Michael (Volyn): Nigerian winger, Babatunde Michael replaced Redvan Memeshev in the 55th minute as Volyn ran out 3-1 winners away to Metalurh Donetsk. Babatunde who has found the net twice, has seen action 15 times for Volyn. Haruna Lukman, Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev): Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye was listed for Dynamo Kiev clash against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk but couldn’t salvage anything for his team as they went down 2-0. Ideye who has now appeared 12 times for Kiev, has two goals to his name. His compatriot, Haruna Lukmon was an unused substitute in the encounter. The former junior international has three goals in 16 games. GERMANY Chinedu Obasi (Schalke 04): Nigerian international Chinedu Obasi scored his second goal in the Bundesliga and provided an assist as Schalke 04 defeated visitors Hertha BSC 2-0 inside the Veltins-Arena. Obasi opened scoring in the 16th minute before turning provider for Klaus-Jan Huntelaar who made it two.  Obasi was later replaced by Ghana’s Anthony Annan in the 84th minute. The game was his ninth so farin the Bundesliga. ITALY Nnamdi Oduamadi (Varese): Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi was in action for Varese but suffered defeat at home to Palermo who won 2-1. Oduamadi who missed Varese’s last game due to flu, was replaced by Luca Forte in the 76th minute. He has scored two goals in seven appearance for the Serie outfit. Joel Obi (Parma), Ogenyi Onazi (Lazio): Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi featured throughout 90 minutes as Lazio beat visiting Parma 3-2 inside the Stadio Olimpico. The game which was his 25th for Lazio, however, saw the 2013 AFCON winner booked in the 43rd minute. His Nigerian counterpart, Joel Obi, was left out by coach Roberto Donadoni as he was only good for the bench. Obinna Nsofor (Chievo): Super Eagles forward, Obinna Nsofor, was on from the start but went down 3-0 to resurgent AC Milan. He later made way for French attacker Cyril Thereau in the 63rd minute of the game. SPAIN Nosa Igiebor (Real Betis): Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor, was not listed in Real Betis squad that defeated Levante 3-1 away. Igiebor has appeared nine times for Betis, finding the back of the net just once. Ramon Azeez (Almeria): Nigerian midfielder, Ramon Azeez, replaced Corona in the 82nd minute but his team Almeria still lost 1-0 away to Real Valladolid. The ex-junior international has appeared 25 times, scoring one goal in the La Liga. TURKEY Michael Eneramo, Joseph Akpala (Karabukspor): Nigerian striker Michael Eneramo scored the only goal in the 90th minute but got booked in the 84th minute as Karabukspor won 1-0 against Besiktas. The goal was Eneramo’s fourth in nine outings. His Nigeria team-mate Joseph Akpala, who has scored four goals in 11 appearances, was not listed in the squad. Godfrey Oboabona (Rizespor): Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona was not in Rizespor squad as they defeated homers Akhisar Belediyespor 3-2. The former Sunshine Stars defender has scored once for the Turkish team in 13 appearance. John Utaka (Sivasspor): Nigerian striker John Utaka struck twice as his Turkish side Sivasspor defeated visiting Gaziantepspor 3-2. The former Montpellier forward opened scoring in the 15th minute before sealing the win in added time. The win places Sivasspor in fourth behind Fenebache, Galatasaray and Besiktas who are first, second and third respectively. RUSSIA Fegor Ogude (Amkar Perm): Super Eagles midfielder Fegor Ogude played for 90 minute but his side Amkar Perm lost at home to Zenit 2-1. The former Valerenga player last weekend scored in his team’s clash with FC Rostov and has been called to action four times, with three goals to his name. FRANCE Vincent Enyeama (Lille): Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, kept a clean sheet as Lille piped visiting Guingamp 1-0. Enyeama whose team occupy the third post position on the log, has appeared 31 times and has conceded 19 goals so far. Elderson Echiejile(Monaco): Super Eagles left-back Elderson Echiejile saw 90 minute of action but suffered defeat with Monaco as they narrowly lost 1-0 to Evian TG away. The game was the former Sporting Braga player’s second appearance after making his debut last weekend against Lille which ended 1-1. GREECE Abduljeleel Ajagun (Panathinaikos): Former Flying Eagles skipper Abduljeleel Ajagun was on from the start but came off in the 67th minute for Nikolaos Karelis as they held home team Atromitos to a goalless draw. Ajagun has seen action 20 times and has scored four times for Panathinaikos. Ayodele Adeleye (Ergotelis): Nigerian defender Ayodele Adeleye had his sixth appearance for Ergotelis in their 1-0 victory against visiting PAS Giannina. Adeleye was on the bench for 90 minute last Wednesday in his team’s 2-0 away win over ARIS. AUSTRIA Yusuf Otubanjo (Pasching): Nigerian attacker, Yusuf Otubanjo, was on the starting 11 for Pasching – where he is on loan – but came off for Thomas Meyer in the 59th minute as they were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Lask Linz in the Austrian third division. Otubanjo, who was part of the 2009 U-17 Golden Eaglets team and featured for the Nigeria U-23s in 2011, has now appeared 17 times and has found the back of the net six times. He copped a fracture in his foot during the match and will be out for at least a month. PORTUGAL Chidi Osuchukwu (Sporting Braga): Former Flying Eagles player, Chidi Osuchukwu, was not listed in Sporting Braga’s squad as they lost at home 1-0 to Benfica. Osuchukwu was on the bench last weekend in Braga’s 1-1 away draw against Rio Ave. He made his debut against John Ogu’s Academica a fortnight ago. HUNGARY George Ikenne (Honved): Nigerian midfielder George Ikenne played 90 minute but couldn’t salvage anything for his side as they lost 1-0 to Mezokovesd-Zsory. The game was Ikenne’s 19th but he is yet to register a single goal. DENMARK Edward Ofere (Vestsjaelland): Nigerian forward Edward Ofere was pulled out in the 80th minute for Dennis Sorensen in Vestsjaelland’s 0-0 away draw to Esbjerg. It was his seventh appearance, finding the net twice.
