–Pillars forward targets top scorers’ honour
Kano Pillars forward has set his sights on supplanting Emem Eduok as the topscorer in the Globacom Premier League this season.
Obiozor who recently announced his entry to Kano Pillars with a top scorer award during the LMC organized Super 6 competition, says he wants to finish as the top scorer in Africa’s Premier club competition the CAF Champions League.
“I have set a target of being the highest goal scorer in the CAF Champions League.
”In the concluded Super 6, I emerged as the highest goal scorer so now, I also want to score the most goals this season as well”
Enyimba striker, Mfom Udoh scored 23 league goals last season but Obiozor would have to be more prolific to break the long standing record.
In 2014, the 20 year-old got invited to be a part of the Nigeria national football team squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship where he helped the team to a third place finish after Nigeria beat Zimbabwe by a goal to nil.
