Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona believes the side must be at their best against Egypt when both teams clash in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later this month, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The three- time African champions are second in Group G of the qualifiers with four points, two points behind the Pharaohs who sit at the top of the log.
The Turkey- based defender reckoned that he and Super Eagles teammates must be ready to fight hard to pick the ticket to Gabon 2017.
"We didn't make it to the last AFCON and we know we can't afford to miss out once again.
"The games against Egypt will be very tough and we must be ready to fight hard to beat them.
"They too are eager to qualify for AFCON as they missed out on the last couple of editions.
"I have no doubt we can beat them, but it is important we give our all in the games."
Nigeria will host the North Africans in the first leg at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Friday, March 25.
The return leg is billed for Alexandria four days later.
