Stoke City forward, Osaze Odemwingie, has focused his attention on the new Barclays Premier League season as his club’s pre-season programme gets to the concluding stage.
The former West Brom player was in action for Stoke in their 2-0 loss to Brentford on Saturday. He was later replaced by Bojan Krkic in the 46th minute.
Reacting on the defeat, Odemwingie expressed his happiness following the return of Bojan Krkic who had been out injured.
“Was really good to see Bojan back in action today (Saturday). Two more friendlies before the new season starts. Counting days,” Odemwingie wrote on his Twitter page.
Stoke City will open the new season at home against Liverpool on Sunday, August 9 2015.
And it would be recalled that the potters hammered Liverpool 6-1 on the final day of last season.
