Nigerian striker Osaze Odemwingie has expressed his pleasure at remaining with Stoke after a proposed move away fell through.
The former West Brom star was a subject of interest from French club Marseille, but Stoke rejected a deadline day bid for him.
Odemwingie has taken to Twitter to declare his loyalty to Stoke.
He tweeted on Tuesday, in the morning after deadline day: “Really pleased I stayed with the Mighty Potters! Will continue to fight for a place in the team.”
Odemwingie, who copped a lot of flak for once driving down to QPR when at West Brom while a deal had not been reached is not a regular at Stoke but he is apparently not ready to give up without fighting.
