Nigerian forward, Osaze Odemwingie, has been included in Stoke City’s squad that will take part in the Colonia Cup in Koln, Germany, which starts on Saturday, according to the club’s official website.
Odemwingie who missed most part of last season due to injury, is one of 33 players who are making the trip to Germany.
The tournament which will represent Stoke’s final pre-season outing before the EPL kick-off next weekend, will also feature Valencia and FC Porto.
The Potters who took part in the Barclays Asia Trophy in Singapore some days back, will face host club FC Koln Saturday, before taking on FC Porto on Sunday.
The club’s other close season signings – Glen Johnson, Shay Given, Joselu, Moha, Jakob Haugaard, Marco van Ginkel and Philipp Wollscheid – are also included in the travelling party, along with several Under-21 squad members.
