Former Nigeria forward, Osaze Odemwingie, will miss Madura United's Indonesian Liga 1 game against Gresik United on Wednesday due to suspension, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 35 year old Nigerian picked up a yellow card, his fifth booking of the season, meaning he will be suspended for a game according to the club's official website.
Odemwingie is the joint top scorer in the Indonesian League with Persela Lamongan's striker Ivan Coelho, on five goals apiece.
Madura United will also be without Asep Berlian,Rizki Dwi Febrianto and Dane Milovanovic.
"It's not their fault, they got yellow carded in those games and can not play in the next game (against Gresik United). This is the risk of the game in every competition," Madura United Club President, Achsanul Qosasi was quoted on the club's official website.
"All players must remain compact and immediately prepare to face the next game."
Madura United are fourth in the Indonesian top flight division with 13 points from eight games.
