Oduamadi Set For Crotone Debut

–Super Eagles star listed for Coppa Italia Clash against Casertana

Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi is in line to make his debut for his new side Crotone in Sunday’s Coppa Italia clash against Casertana after he was included in the Massimo Drago’s 21 man squad for the game.

The Nigerian international who signed a season loan deal from AC Milan has been assigned jersey number 29 but may end up wearing No.7 if Ricci Federico seals his move to Cagliari from his parent club, Roma.

Roma coach Rudi Garcia is targeting more reinforcements ahead of their return to the Champions League this season and may offer young guns Antonio Sanabria and Federico Ricci on loan in exchange for Cagliari striker Mauricio Pinilla in the coming weeks.

“Hopefully I will make my debut on Sunday but I’m not under pressure,” he told Complete Sports.

“I’m fit and ready to defend the colours of the team.

The referee for the game billed for Ezio Scida stadium is Gianluca Aureliano from Bologna.
Crotone finished sixth on the Serie B log last season.

Oduamadi also added that he is looking forward to makig his return to the senior national team after missing out on the World Cup in Brazil.

“It’s a new dawn and all that happenned is in the past I’ve moved on I’m hoping to get a chance to return to the squad for the coming qualifiers,” he said.
