AC Milan winger Nnamdi Oduamadi arrived in Lagos Wednesday evening for the final burial rites of his late father Sir Vincent Iwuezie Oduamadi, who died on 30 September.
Oduamadi will on Thursday depart for his home town in Umunkwo Eziumuenyi Village in Isiala Mbano, Imo State where his late father will be laid to rest on Friday, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The bereaved 24-year-old Nigerian international said: “I will be in heading to my village tomorrow to be with my mother in this grieving moment. My darling dad was my biggest motivation.
“My dad was my best friend. All I have done and all I will do in my life will be to make him proud.
“I hope I have. I will think of him every minute of every day.

Former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama also buried his mother in Akwa Ibom State earlier this month.
