Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu, will sign a new four-year deal with Hapoel Be’er Sheva, completesportsnigeria.com has gathered.
The Nigerian who recently turned down a lucrative offer from an unnamed Chinese side will also receive an increment in his salary.
Ogu who is expected to report to the senior national team camp Tuesday morning took to his Instagram account wall to thank everyone who played a role in the deal.
“I’m happy about this. Thank you Lord for helping me continue working with this Great Club. It’s time to work harder. God bless everyone who was part of it,” Ogu wrote.
Meanwhile the 27-year-old has been listed for Saturday’s final league match against Beitar Jerusalem.
Ogu has scored four goals in 34 games this season.
