Ogu Declares “I’m Never A Loser” Ahead Of Besiktas Clash

Nigerian midfielder John Ogu is optmistic Hapoel Be'er Sheva can turn around their 3-1 home loss to Besiktas in Thursday's second leg Europa League round of 32 clash in Turkish.

 

An own goal from Hapoel's William and a goal each from Atiba Hutchison and Cenk Tosun secured a comfortable first leg win for the Turkish giants in Israel.

 

Hapoel's only goal was scored by Elianiv Barda.

 

Super Eagles star Ogu and his compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme both played 90 minutes in that defeat.

 

Looking ahead to the game, Ogu stated that despite the first leg deficit, the tie is not yet over. 

 

"Losers will say it is over .. I'm never a loser. Another important game on Thursday," Ogu wrote on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
