Nigerian midfielder John Ogu has showered plaudits on Ahmed Musa following his impressive performance for CSKA in their 2-2 home draw withManchester City yesterday in the UEFA Champions League.
City took a 2-0 lead in the first half through Sergio Aguero and James Milner. But it was a different ball game in the second half as CSKA rallied back to draw level, with Musa providing the assist for his team’s first goal which was converted by Ivory Coast’s Seydou Doumbia.
Ogu who plays for Hapoel Beer Sheva in Israel, wrote on his twitter page: “Good to see my bro Ahmed Musa in top form…#Nigeria#SuperEagles . Proud.”
On Saturday, Musa netted a brace for CSKA in their 6-0 victory against Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian League.
He was on the score sheet for the Eagles last week Wednesday against Sudan in the AFCON 2015 qualifiers, scoring a brace in the team’s 3-1 win.
