–Eagles star reveals new offers
Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has stated that he had a wonderful time playing under Coach Stephen Keshi despite being dropped from the squad to the just concluded 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
In a chat with Complete Sports on his twitter handle yesterday, the FIFA Confederations Cup star said he felt honoured playing for the Big Boss and Nigeria.
“Playing under Coach Stephen Keshi is one experience I will never forget. It was an honour to play for him and also for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.”
Ogu however pointed out that he has moved on from the disappointment of being dropped from the World Cup squad.
“God knows best, I leave all to him.”
Ogu who plies his trade with Portuguese side Academica de Coimbra, said he is preparing for the new season, revealing that he has offers from many clubs but nothing has been decided yet.
“I am preparing for the new season but I am just trying to sort myself now with my present club Academica de Coimbra.
“Concerning offers, yes, there’ve been offers from clubs but for now, none in the papers yet.”
