By James Agberebi: Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu, has expressed delight that Hapoel Beer Sheva signed out out of 2017 with a 1-0 away win against 10-man Hapoel Ashkelon in the Israeli top flight on Sunday

Tomas Pekhart scored the only goal for Beer Sheva in the 90th minute to secure the hard-fought win.
Ashkelon’s Josip Ivancic was sent off in the 58th minute after receiving second yellow card.
The win saw Beer Sheva occupy top spot in the league table on 36 points, a point above second-place Hapoel Haifa.
Reacting to the win, Ogu who was in action for Beer Sheva admitted that it was a difficult game for his side.
