John Ogu is inspired to speak, who would’nt be?
Two high profile friendlies lined up within four (4) days to seperate the boys from the men, on Fri 23rd & Tues, 27th of this month.
Vice Captain Ogenyi Onazi would be leading the charge in the absence of inspirational Capt Mikel Obi, told the world that these friendlies won’t be a friendly.
    Hahahaha!
Expectedly, it is going to be WAR to finish.
    In Nigeria, football is “War”!
This is what it used to be back in the days.
It is a game of ‘life & death’, and that’s the reason football is so special for many with massive following. It’s the Nigerian mentality.
SE need the win to boost their confidence as well as reinforce team bonding.
The SE players in Wroclaw would have serious battles on two (2) fronts starting from Friday; making the final cut & defeating Poland in their backyard.
Both objectives are difficult propositions for fringe players in particular.
The recalled & first time players will be jostling to convince the gaffer of their capabilities for a spot.
Returnee Torino boy, Joel Obi has a golden chance to reclaim a starting place on Eagles’ left side of the midfield. Or central midfield, depending on GR tactics.
Joel will be battling with Moses Simeon & John Ogu who are established Eagles themselves and certain to make the squad to Russia baring injury and loss of form.
Liverpool new prospect Ndidi, Onazi, Etebo & untested tough guy, Uche Henry Agbo are highly rated by Gernot Rohr as the SE crushing machine & midfield mainstay. This is a crack & tested department in GR formation.
Against the Polish, SE midfield will be pumping at full blast as fans would be treated to a brawl the Nigerian way..
The team should prove itself capable without Etebo & Mikel.
    How will they rate?
GR led team should win Wroclaw battle convincingly for fans.
No serious team would toy with these categories of engagements as they are solid tests required to hammer teams into the right shape ahead of the mundial. Nigeria is no different.
Let us wait and see how Rohr intends to achieve his goals..
