The 27-year-old midfielder signed a one-year deal with an option of three at the beginning of the season, and having been an integral part of the team’s successes this season, is desperate to know where his future lies in the summer.
The former Uniao de Lieria and Academica also noted that there will be no brotherly love between him and Nosa Igiebor when their respective teams clash in the Isreali State Cup final in a fortnight.
“I’ve got a contract with Hapoel and I will be discussing those terms with the club on Friday,” Ogu who has scored four goals in 30 games for the Isreali State Cup finalist told Completesportsnigeria.com
“They may sit down with me once the season has finished and we’ll start talking then. Whether it’s a yes or a no, I will continue to give my very best until my contract finishes,”
“Our ties will be put aside. The trophy is at stake and I pray I win it to cap what many regard as a brilliant season for me,” Ogu said in a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com.
