Super Eagles invitee, Izunna Uzochukwu, was in action for his Russian side, Amkar Perm, on Friday but couldn’t prevent them from losing 1-0 away to Rostov.
Uzochukwu replaced Georgi Peev in the 64th minute of the encounter.
But it was a game to be forgotten by his Nigerian team-mate, Fegor Ogude, who was given a straight red card.
In Norway, former junior international, Akeem Latifu and team-mate, Leke James, featured in Aalesund’s 2-0 win against Valerenga, with James netting the first goal.
The game, which saw both Nigerians playing the full 90 minutes, had Peter Orry Larsen sealing the win for Aalesund on the struck of half-time.
In Belgium, Wilfred Ndidi replaced Bryan Heynen in the 15th minute in Genk’s 2-0 win against Sporting Charleroi.
Goals from Julien Gorius and Sebastien Dewaest sealed the win for Genk.
