Super Eagles new boys, Maarouf Yussuf and Stanley Ohawuchi were on target for their Egyptian top league side, Zamalek in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Petrojet, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Yussuf opened scoring in the 24th minute of the encounter before Ohawuchi doubled the lead on the stroke of half time.
Yusuf the 25 year old was part of the Nigerian squad that lost 2-0 to South Africa on the 10th of June.
The win takes Zamalek to third in the Egyptian leaguelog with two games left to play.
The strike was Yussuf's first in 31 games in all competitions, though he has made three assists so far this season.
Incidentally, his last goal was against Petrojet two years ago – on the 28th of December 2015.
For Ohawuchi, it was his sixth league goal of the season, eighth in 32 games, in all competitions, in his 24th league appearance.
The former Egyptian champions will host Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandary on the 6th of July.
