Osas Okoro says he's hoping to build on the momentum of his goal against Niger when the Home Eagles battle Tunisia for a place in the next round of the on-going African Nations Championship, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Okoro was a surprise inclusion in the squad and the winger has displayed consistency that Oliseh had been hoping for in his squad.
His goal against Niger last Monday was his first for Nigeria in four international games and Okoro is now hopeful that he's capable of becoming a permanent member of the Eagles' line-up.
"I know I haven't been at the best I can probably be but I started and got a goal today," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I just want to continue with the kind of performance I had and go on from here and try to get a few more goals in the competition which is crucial for me and the team."
Okoro also hoped that Home Eagles CHAN 2014 bronze medalist would nick all three points against Tunisia to seal a place in the next round of the competition against.
"The game against Tunisia is going to be a massive game for us and hopefully, if we can get three points against them, it will be key for us," Okoro explained.
"It's up to the manager to pick his own players. I just want to keep on working hard in training and hopefully get the reward we deserve."
